Default Gas War in Central

Gas prices went up by around five cents per litre in Grand Falls-Windsor today, as it did in the rest of the province. However, here consumers are getting a break. At many retailers, prices are three cents below the maximum levels set by the petroleum pricing office. The owner of E & G Irving says he isn't sure why the trend started, but he suspects it is because some stations are opting to sell full service for the price of self-serve. Meanwhile, at the Car Spa, owner Clint Norman has been doing just that and he says the customers appreciate it.
