I believe that every religion has its flaws and to an extent all religions have at some point suppressed women. For example India retains a caste system which suppresses even men. I do agree that in certain places Islam is used to keep women down but even there women are beginning to have their voices heard. Nothing takes place overnight, but with the modernizing of the world even Islam is evolving.
I am doing alright. I have been busy lately but still find time to stop in and participate. I guess I need to read the policys and rules, (do's and dont's) to better aquaint myself. I really like the layout here and I would like to see this forum grow. I would like to spread the word but I need to brush up on the rules of the forum first.
I had a question, is there a tab that members can click on to view the threads that they have started and the threads that they have participated in? I know it is probally there but I must have overlooked it.
I live near the Chicago area. I am a small business owner and the economy isn't doing me any favors. I am still young but have been in business for twelve years. I get by but haven't ever lit the world on fire.
